It
is 9 am, you walk through our 7000+ sq feet warehouse
and enter our lab. You can smell the brewing paw balm
as you walk in. Certified Organic herbs in jars all
lined up on shelves next to the test tubes and gear
greet you - followed by aromatherapy grade pure unadulterated
GC tested essential oils. You put on an apron, nitrile
gloves, hair net and get ready to stir the organic
botanical infusions made on site into the balm formula.
"Can
you please hand me the Certified Organic Aloe Vera"
you hear. You walk and get a gallon, cross one off
the inventory tag hanging above the shelf and hand
it away. "We should order more, there are only
4 more gallons left", you say as you hear the
gentle soothing gurgle of the Certified Organic Aloe
being added to the formula. You watch a few carefree
bubbles fly by you...
Outside
the lab, you can hear the busy tape cutters sealing
boxes that will cuddle freshly handmade organic vegan
people skin care and canine
products to customers all over the world.
Printer
sure is happy this morning - it has been singing away
since you walked in. Orders are sent from the shipping
department to the lab and are printed on 100% recycle
paper.
You
remove your nitrile gloves, hair net and goggles as
you reset the temperature on the ointment vat. You
grab the test pour of the ointment and sniff it as
you walk by the freshly made shampoo. You take your
apron off and as you are ready to leave - you cannot
help caressing the ointment and rub your hands together.
You
leave the fragrant lab and walk by packaging and storage,
down the steps and end up out on the loading dock
to take a short break. Your back leaning on the two
hundred plus year old brick building that was once
an old Tobacco Warehouse, you sit on the loading dock
steps.
Sun
is shinning, sky is clear, you feel your hands and
think - life smells great....
Welcome
to a world free from contract manufacturers, mass
production and distorted advertising lullabies!
